We will start the time trial in the late afternoon. The course is approximately 11km in length and pancake flat. We hope your ears aren’t popping after taking in the 33m of elevation change

The first rider will be off at 15:31 on Saturday, May 12, 2018. Riders will be released at 30-second intervals. There will be 2 minutes spacing between categories.
Time trial bikes must conform to UCI regulations. Pre-event checks will be offered to all riders during the Friday night registration and during the day at the Rollyview Hall Race Headquarters.
The regulations will be strictly enforced for category 1,2,3 men and women. These categories will have their bikes verified at the time trial start line. Report to the Commissaire 5 minutes prior to your start time. Once your bike is checked, you will not be able to leave the start queue.
For category 4,5 men and women, U15, U17 categories a visual inspection will be done at the start line.
License check & number pickup will be available at the hall after the road race.
One number in the middle of your lower back. Frame plate is not required.
The start line is 800m south of Rollyview road on Range Road 233. Race headquarters and parking is at the Rolly View community hall and is approximately 2.5km from the start line. Take travel time into consideration when arriving for your start.
The finish line is approximately 1200m south Rollyview road and approximately 400m south of the start line. This is an out and back course and you should use caution when turning around or making any sort of move that might cause you to collide with traffic or another rider.
At the conclusion of your ride, proceed with extreme care to the Rolly View community hall.
The start list will be created Friday, May 11th, 2018 on this site, at the number pick-up, and at the event on Saturday. Please double-check the start list that is printed and posted at the Rolly View Community Hall prior to your race just in case something has changed.

The Rolly View Community Hall is the staging site for the time trial. The gravel parking lot may be a little tight, so please park intelligently and be considerate of others. The hall will be open to use the rest room facilities.
No team or unauthorized following vehicles are permitted in the time trial.
There will not be any offical vehicles on the course.
An ambulance and several paramedics will be on the course. The nearest hospital is the Leduc Community Hospital.
Podium presentations will be held shortly after the race ends over at the Rolly View Community Hall parking area.

The Stieda Classic 2018 race leaders are determined by totalling points acquired in the Road Race + Individual Time Trial + Criterium Points Race.
This event will be part of the Alberta Provincial Road Series with series and upgrade points available according to the ABA Points Schedule B:
Da Capo Caffé will be on location serving up their delicious coffee.
There should be left over snacks and refreshments at the Rolly View Community Hall at the conclusion of the time trial event.
